Gwiddle has always been known as the free web hosting service for students. Now, it is a registered UK charity with the aims of furthering Computer Science education!
In addition to our existing services, we are now working on developing an exciting new tutoring service, both online and in the real world. Keep a keen eye on this website to find out more about our work as we get started!
Gwiddle Web Hosting is now a project by The Gwiddle Foundation, and will sit alongside its other work in the supplementary education sector. It may have been where we began, but it’s certainly not where we’re going to stop!
Happy Birthday, The Gwiddle Foundation!
I want to thank you so much for providing this service for students: Easy to use, no ads, no credit cards needed. Wonderful!
I am a Computer Science Professor at South Florida State College in Avon Park, FL. I will be teaching an intensive 2-week Internet Programming course this summer (June 4-15) and need a free hosting site for my students to post their HTML code. After searching the Internet, I found Gwiddle Host last week and tried it out for a few days. I have decided to use Gwiddle for the course, as it seems very straight forward and easy to use.
I do have a question, however: The Gwiddle documentation indicates that MYTHIC BEASTS is your hosting service, but when I log into the FILE MANAGER, I see I am in PLESK. Can you explain the difference/relationships between Gwiddle, Mythic Beasts, and Plesk?
Again, many thanks, Cherie Stevens
